There are many ways in which Palma Ceia United Methodist participates in our larger community. These opportunities are made possible by the generous contributions of our members’ time and resources. We hope you will visit this page often to find ways you might be able to serve with us. Below you will find some current needs as well as continuing Mission & Service Opportunities.
Food Closet
Our food closet for the needy is almost bare. If you can help, please bring canned foods, noodles, pasta sauces, and non-perishable foods to the church office. Hand held can openers are a necessary item too… Thank you in advance for your help.
Bread Ministry
We need volunteers to help with delivering bread to first-time visitors in our church. You only have to deliver bread one Sunday a month. If you would like to help, call Angie Van Zandt at 998-9188.
Ushers
We want to invite you to become an usher at the 10:30 service. Ushers serve approximately once every other month. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, please contact the church office.
Sunday School
Sunday School leaders and substitutes needed for 9:15 and 10:15 a.m. Please consider sharing your love for the Lord and children through this ministry.
Altar Flowers
If you would like flowers placed on the altar during Sunday services, call church office at 837-1541. Two arrangements are still only $50. Call the church office to add your special date to the calendar.

We need volunteers to help prepare the Sanctuary for worship on Sunday mornings. |

| Mission of the Month |
Each month Palma Ceia selects a Mission of the Month to focus our energy on the needs of a service we can provide to the community and/or beyond. |

| Prayer Group |
Our prayer group meets each Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Parlor I. We would welcome anyone who is interested in participating. Call the church office or Joyce Williams 837-0679 if you have interest or questions. |

| Thanksgiving Loyalty Sunday |
One of the things that makes Palma Ceia UMC such a unique and special church is that we operate our church completely on faith. WE DO NOT TAKE PLEDGES. We simply trust God to provide for the needs of the church through the faithful giving of our church family members. |
