The thought that comes to many of our minds when we hear the words Endowment Fund is gifts of large amounts of money.

That is a natural conclusion since our exposure to Endowment Funds through the media is often about large gifts to major universities, medical, charitable or research foundations. However many churches both large and small also have Endowment Funds. We just don’t hear about them as often. Most church endowment funds are made up of many smaller gifts. In time these gifts add up and can eventually aid the ministry of a church in a significant and continuous way. These Funds are truly a gift that keeps on giving because except in the case of an emergency only the earnings of the fund are utilized. This is just a reminder that Palma Ceia United Methodist has its own Endowment Fund. A gift of any size to our Church Endowment Fund may be something you wish to consider.
