Children are enrolled in one of the following programs:
Young 3 & 3 Year Old Program: The curriculum is aimed to help provide learning experiences through love, attention, and positive reinforcement. Developmentally, age-appropriate activities enhance language development through creative movement, puppetry, dramatics, and art.
Young 3 Program: To enter in September, the child must turn 3 on or before February 15th and be potty-trained. Each class has one teacher and an aide who moves between classes.
3 Year Old Program: The child must turn 3 on or before September 1st. There is a maximum of 15 children per class. Each class has one teacher and aides who move between classes.
4 Year Old Program: The curriculum provides a well-rounded readiness program to prepare the preschooler for any kindergarten class. Pre-reading and writing, classification, labeling, comprehension, pre-math, patterning, sequencing, and closure are implemented on a daily basis.
The child must turn 4 on or before September 1st. There is a maximum of 20 children per class. Each class has one teacher and an aide who moves between classes.
Transitional Kindergarten: This program was developed to allow a child an extra year of growth in emotional maturity, self-control and self-discipline. An even balance between concrete manipulation, developmentally age-appropriate activities and continued practice in writing and recognition skills provides self-confidence, motivation, and a positive feeling towards school.
The child must have attended a 4 year-old program prior to entering, or must be 5 years old. There is a maximum of 12 children per class.
