JANUARY Crosswinds Wesley Foundation University of South Florida The United Methodist Church has a strong student ministry on the USF campus. The students do not have the funds to provide significant support for this ministry, so the United Methodist churches of Tampa underwrite this fine outreach to the college students. |

Your giving to the July Mission of the Month will assist other new United Methodist churches that are just getting on their feet. They are reaching many new people for Jesus Christ. Your financial support will go far toward the establishment of new United Methodist Churches in our local district. |
During its tenure as Bethune-Cookman’s premiere performing group, the chorale has traveled more than two million miles throughout the United States and five foreign countries. The chorale is under the direction of Tawn
B. Thomas, Professor of Music and Director of Cultural Affairs at Bethune-Cookman University. An inspiring concert by the chorale is scheduled in our Sanctuary on Sunday, February 19th at the 10:30 service, although the Chorale will participate in all three services. Your donation will help the Chorale continue their inspiring programs. Please invite family members, friends and co-workers to attend this very special event!!! |

Both churches are growing rapidly with many new converts to Christianity. To accommodate all the people who are coming to the Church, the members are finalizing construction on their new church. The church members are doing much of the construction work themselves. |

Your gift to this mission will provide needed assistance to people around the world. |
The dates this year are June 9th thru 13th. Registration fee is $25 and includes books, crafts, snacks and a T-shirt. We don’t want to leave out any child because of financial hardship. The VBS Scholarship Fund enables us to include every child who wishes to attend this year. |

One of the outstanding features of our 8: 30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship experiences is the music provided by our Chancel Choir. Under the direction of our Choir Director, Bob Zahner, the congregation is inspired by the morning anthem. This fund enables us to provide a partial scholarship to deserving music students in our local area. They earn the scholarship by being selected to sing in our Chancel Choir. |
Summer camp is a wonderful experience for many of our children and youth. One week at camp can change a life for years to come. To enable any child or youth in our church to attend summer church camp we offer Summer Camp Scholarships. We pay one half the cost of summer camp. |

We have an awesome and growing Xtreme Youth group, directed by Misty Winter. These students are learning and developing a strong spiritual and social foundation. Thanks to all of you who support our students and this special ministry. |
