Adult Sunday School Classes
Sundays | 9:15–10:30 a.m.

United Methodist Men is a group of men striving to affect our community, our church and our families in Christian ministry. Events include monthly Tuesday evening dinner meetings, workdays for Habitat for Humanity, participation in couples and men's retreats held at Leesburg, and our annual Pancake Marathon.

Spiritual Singles

Spiritual Singles is our ministry for singles. We invite the singles in our community to join the singles group for their social activities and to grow spiritually.

Young at Heart

Our seniors here at Palma Ceia are an active bunch, and our Young at Heart ministry provides plenty of opportunity for them to get together for a variety of activities throughout the year.

United Methodist Women

All women in our church are invited to join the UMW. The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose Purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

UMW Reading Program

We would love for anyone to participate in our Methodist reading program. Pick up a brochure in Parlor I, choose a reading program plan, and delve into reading books chosen to enhance your knowledge through christianity. If you choose not to follow the program, please feel free to just read! One of the wonderful books on the list currently is The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This book tells a sweeping story of family, love, and friendship against a backdrop of the devastating history of Afghanistan over the last thirty years. Circle Meetings

•  Circle 2 meets 3rd Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.
•  Circle 4 meets 3rd Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
•  Circle 5 meets 3rd Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m.
•  Circle 13* meets 4th Mondays at 1:00 p.m.
       *Former Circles 1 and 3 combined
  

Annual Scholarship Luncheon

 Our 50^th Scholarship Luncheon will be held on May 1, 2010. Plans are under way to celebrate the anniversary of the first “Salad Bowl Luncheon”.   Tickets will be available from the Circle members and the Church office after soon.

PC Stitchers

 PC Stitchers meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 11am to 2pm.  Bring your lunch and your knitting/crochet needles and spend time with other crafters sharing your current projects, while making baby caps and blankets for newborns and preemies.  Call the church office to get the patterns.
