The 40 days of Lent are a time of reflection and spiritual growth as we learn about Jesus' Ministry and the transformation leading Him to the cross. The Lenten season in 2008 begins with Ash Wednesday on February 6th and ends on Easter Sunday, March 23rd.

February 6th: Ash Wednesday Service: 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary

February 9th: SWEETHEART/Spousal Appreciation (Night) begins at 7:00 p.m.

February 10th: First Sunday in Lent - Worship 8:30, 9:15 & 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary

February 13 - March 12th: Wednesdays 5:30 p.m. Dinners; 6:30 p.m. Lay Academy (continued)

February 17th: Second Sunday in Lent - Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale: 9:15 & 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary (no 8:30 a.m. service)
New Members' Class at 11:45 a.m. in Parlor I

February 24th: Third Sunday in Lent - Worship 8:30, 9:15 & 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary

March 2nd: Fourth Sunday in Lent - Worship 8:30, 9:15 & 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary

March 7th: World Day of Prayer

March 9th: Fifth Sunday in Lent - Easter Cantata at 9:15 & 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary (no 8:30 a.m. service)

March 16th: Palm Sunday - Worship 8:30, 9:15 & 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary

March 21st: Good Friday - Worship time to be announced

March 23rd: Easter - Worship at 10:00 a.m. only in the Sanctuary
